Course Description
If you’re new to robotics, this is the perfect place to start! In this course, you’ll explore the key components that make robots work—sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers. You’ll also learn how to program them using Arduino and Raspberry Pi. As you progress, we’ll introduce you to embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and IoT applications. By the end of this course, you’ll have built your own functional robot and gained a solid foundation in both hardware and software.
What You’ll Learn:
Imagine a robot that can navigate the world on its own—this course will teach you how to build one! You’ll learn about SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), path planning, and LIDAR-based navigation. With hands-on projects using ROS and Gazebo, you’ll create an autonomous robot that can move, map its surroundings, and make real-time decisions.
Topics Covered:
- SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
- Path planning and LIDAR-based navigation
- Real-world applications of autonomous robotics
- Hands-on projects with ROS and Gazebo
