PCB Designing – Practical Course For ITI and Diploma Students
This 4 Weeks course is specially crafted for ITI and Diploma (Electronics) students who want to strengthen their expertise in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication. Learners will gain hands-on experience in PCB layout, design tools, and manufacturing techniques—building the practical skills needed for electronics, embedded systems, and hardware industries.
Available Coaching Centers:
This course is specially designed for ITI and Diploma students who want to build strong skills in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designing and fabrication. The program covers the fundamentals of circuit design, schematic creation, PCB layout, simulation, and fabrication techniques.
Through hands-on sessions with industry-standard tools (like KiCad / EasyEDA / Proteus / Altium), learners will design and test their own PCB projects. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design single-layer and double-layer PCBs, prepare files for manufacturing, and assemble/test functional boards for practical applications.
Tools and Technologies
- PCB Designing Software: KiCad / EasyEDA / Proteus / Altium (Intro level)
- Simulation Tools: Multisim / Proteus (Optional)
- Hardware Tools: Breadboards, soldering station, multimeter, PCB etching setup.
- Output Files: Gerber files, drill files, BOM (Bill of Materials)
Learning Outcomes
- By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basics of electronic circuits and PCB design workflow.
- Create schematic diagrams using EDA software.
- Convert schematics into professional PCB layouts.
- Apply design rules for track width, clearance, and component placement.
- Generate Gerber files and prepare boards for fabrication.
- Solder and assemble basic PCB prototypes.
- Test and debug circuits on fabricated PCBs.
Project and Certification
- Each participant will complete a mini-project PCB design (individual or group).
- Final review includes presentation + PCB demo.
- Students receive a Completion Certificate in PCB Designing & Fabrication.
Prerequisites (Recommended, not Mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of electronics components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs).
- Familiarity with breadboard prototyping.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety.
Career Opportunities
After completing this course, students can explore:
- PCB Design Engineer (entry-level)
- Electronics Technician / Hardware Support
- Embedded Systems Trainee
- Electronics Product Development Intern
- Freelance PCB Designer (using EasyEDA, JLCPCB, etc.)
